Content Requirements
Introduction (half-a-page max): You may transfer and modify the introduction from the Case Study. This section provides some context for the overall paper.
Research Design (minimum page and a half): The goal of this section is to explain the methods of your study, such as the research focus and overarching research question, data collection process (e.g what did you collect, how you collected it, etc.), length of data collection period, interview/survey information (e.g. questions asked, credentials of person, survey distribution process, etc.), data analysis strategies (e.g. lens used to code data, how you coded the data, categories you came up with, etc.), and other pertinent information the reader must know to understand the overall research design of your study. Be descriptive and quantify content. Include a table to help the reader visualize your data collection methods. Do not analyze content or include screenshots in this section (save it for the analysis section).
Background (minimum 4 pages): The goal of this section is to explain the online community you analyzed. This still needs to meet the basic requirements for the Case Study. Therefore, transfer and modify the Case Study to this section. If you received a low score, it is best to stop by during office hours so we can discuss possible revision strategies.
Analysis (minimum 8 pages): The goal of this section is to answer the research question. Primary and secondary research are used to support your analysis.
